Decades ago, five outstanding musicians gathered in Tallahassee to form one of the most prolific all original musical ensembles in Northeast Florida.  Some of its’ members were pilots and former Air Force; two were tennis pros, with numerous athletic scholarships and the band sported three master’s degrees (two in music), course work for a PhD. and, of course, plenty of musical talent.  Check out the link titled “Band Members.”

Decades later the group has grown into a full-fledged wedding and events band that, literally, does it all.  Fact is, the Planes will “Get ‘er done!” because with over 20 years performing, it’s likely they’ve already done it many times.

Need soft background music?  The “Planes” recently played for Florida’s Governor and entertained during a dinner reception for an event honoring the Speaker of Florida’s House of Representatives. 

Need a single or duo to perform acoustic chapel music as background for your wedding…the Planes have been there, done that.

Need something a little more middle-of-the-road, like a trio or duo for a reception prior to the whole band performing?  Check!

Need a band for an outdoor festival. Check!  

The “Planes” have been featured during the Festival of Lights,  The Springtime Tallahassee events and parade, The Florida Cattlemen’s Association Adams Street celebration at the Florida State Capital and have even performed numerous times at Kleman Plaza, once for the 50^th anniversary celebration of Tallahassee Community College. Street festivals, in fact, are part of the “Planes” schtick—once they were called in by The City of Madison Florida, to draw a crowd back to its’ waning downtown festival.
